LO: To Try And Get Some Sleep Before Our Biggest Show To Date!

10/13/2025

Welcome back to another episode of Two Mr Ps in a Podcast as the lads record their final episode before the Let That Be a Lesson Live Tour officially kicks off this weekend at the Aviva Studios in Manchester. With 1,200 tickets snapped up, it is a sell-out, the biggest show we have done to date and the excitement (and nerves) are very real.
The brothers chat about tour prep, the sleepless nights, and the sheer pride of seeing how far the podcast has come. From humble beginnings to performing in front of huge audiences, they reflect on what makes the show special, a mix of raw honesty, relatable chaos, and proper teacher humour.
Once the warm-up chat is done, they dive into this week’s thread: the co-workers who ruined it for everyone. Basically don't involve alcohol and Hawaiian shirts.  There are also some brilliantly cringe and laugh-out-loud listener stories, from accidental PDA encounters and embarrassing mix-ups to school scandals, awkward misunderstandings, and one unforgettable tale about a classroom spider incident that spirals wildly out of control. As always, it’s an episode full of teacher laughs, relatable moments, and the kind of storytelling that reminds you why this podcast has built such a loyal community.

Welcome back to another episode of Two Mr Ps in a Podcast as the countdown to the Let That Be a Lesson tour officially begins! With less than two weeks to go before the first show, the lads are buzzing with excitement (and a few nerves) as they share their final tour prep chaos and tell everyone to get their tickets from 2MrPsPodcast.com rather than Ticketmaster.
It’s also a special one as they celebrate the Other Mr P’s birthday, which sparks a nostalgic chat about birthdays past, from McDonald’s parties and bowling trips to now preferring a quiet night in and an early bedtime. They also reflect on how birthdays change as you hit your late thirties, why organising plans feels like a full-time job, and how unpredictable British storms and sleepless kids can ruin even the best intentions.
The episode’s main thread explores the oddest reasons children have tantrums, and it’s packed with laugh-out-loud stories every parent and teacher will relate to. From arguments with shadows and meltdowns over the moon to heartbreak over cheese, bleach and “big ham,” the Mr Ps read through the most ridiculous, baffling and brilliant tales of tiny humans losing it over absolutely nothing.
They then turn their attention to some truly unhinged teacher moments, reading a thread of the most diabolical things teachers have said to students, the kind that make you question how some people ever worked in a school. Expect equal parts disbelief, outrage and laughter.
And if that wasn’t enough, the episode ends with another round of unbelievable parent encounters, from oversharing at parents’ evening and unexpected hospital visits to ferret-stroking during meetings and awkward supermarket run-ins. There are moments of pure cringe, accidental innuendo, and more stories that prove truth really is stranger than fiction in the world of education.

The Mr Ps are back with Season 9, Episode 3, and it’s a wild one from start to finish! After surviving a hectic week, the lads catch up on all things tour prep as the countdown is officially on. With over 12,000 tickets already sold, they share their excitement (and nerves!) as the live shows get closer.
Adam opens up about his big career change after eight years at his school, reflecting on an emotional farewell and the new challenge ahead. Just as things get heartfelt, the episode takes a chaotic turn when recording is interrupted by a family emergency or is all not what it seems?
Lee relives the incredible Oasis reunion at Wembley, getting nostalgic about sharing the experience with his daughter and proving why some gigs live with you forever. From there, the brothers dive into this week’s thread all about the pettiest and most unforgettable grudges from school, whether it’s missed opportunities, unfair detentions, or teachers who underestimated pupils who went on to prove them wrong.
And of course, it wouldn’t be complete without a round-up of hilarious classroom comebacks and awkward parent encounters that leave you cringing and crying with laughter in equal measure.

LO: To Always Check Who You've Sent The Text To!

Welcome back! Season 9, episode 2 lands with the Mr Ps settling into the new school year. There’s a quick (and pointed) nod to Ofsted’s latest shenanigans, then straight into good news: the live tour is flying thank to you wonderful people. Manchester is sold out, more dates are close, and you can still submit anonymous stories that might be read on stage.
Thread of the week is a beauty: the worst messages sent to the wrong person. Expect workplace whoopsies, panicked “delete for everyone” attempts, and career-limiting replies. There’s accidental shade fired at bosses, heartfelt texts meant for partners delivered to parents, and autocorrect chaos that turns totally normal updates into… very not-normal ones. Family group chats aren’t safe, emergency features trigger at the worst times, and a few innocent typos escalate faster than a staffroom rumour.
From there, there are some fantastic comebacks from students to teachers, teachers to students and students to other students, some brutal, some shocking but all hilarious.
As ever, no spoilers—just enough to whet your appetite.

Welcome back! A new school year and therefore another season of your favourite podcast! Season 9 kicks off with the Mr Ps just about recovering after a bad bout of food poisoning after some dodgy chicken wings.
The lads dive into to the first thread looking at when you realise you are OLD as the school year always reminds us about the passing of time, for example, Year 7s this year weren't here for the 2014 World Cup. Community chaos takes centre stage with highlights from neighbourhood WhatsApp groups and the world’s most “memorable” neighbours. Then the lads share some more of your hilarious tales from the classroom

It’s the final episode of the academic year and Mr P and Adam kick things off with a hilarious British points quiz about surviving the recent heatwave. Mr P dives into his feelings of FOMO after the epic Oasis concert at Heaton Park which the Other Mr P throughly enjoyed.
Next up is a laugh-out-loud segment on petty grudges that cover everything from childhood incidents to everyday frustrations with shops, celebrities, and more. The hosts share a mix of funny, awkward, and touching stories from school events including unexpected surprises, unusual visitor moments, and quirky mishaps.
There are plenty of amusing fails and embarrassing moments too, ranging from misunderstandings and awkward questions to virtual events disrupted by distractions at home. The episode wraps up with a wild story from a school sports day involving an unexpected outburst and a surprising twist.
As always the lads thank listeners for their support over the year, remind everyone to enjoy the summer holidays guilt-free, and plug their upcoming live tour with tickets selling fast. Don’t miss out on the extra summer episodes and cracking interviews lined up.

Welcome back to another cracking episode of Two Mr Ps in a Podcast as we approach the end of the school year. The lads kick things off chatting about the never-ending hustle of the last few weeks — transition days, leavers’ videos, and the relentless buzz of school life that just doesn’t quit.

Next up, they tackle the things that still make them nervous — from dreaded Offstead calls and awkward introductions to those moments when you realise a kid knows more than you do. Plus, the universal anxiety of ringing in sick and those dreaded “quick chats” with the boss. Then the conversation turns hilarious and downright bizarre with a flood of parents’ evening stories — awkward meetings, unexpected phone calls, wild parent antics, and some unforgettable classroom moments that only teachers could survive. From wardrobe malfunctions to mysterious mouse encounters, it’s a rollercoaster of cringe, chaos, and comedy. To round things off, the Mr Ps share some of the funniest, most awkward, and downright cheeky tales from sex education lessons — including classic kid questions that will have you laughing out loud.

LO: To Know Mr P MBE has a nice ring to it

6/18/2025

In this heartfelt and hilarious episode, the other Mr P starts by congratulating Lee on receiving his MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours, a truly epic achievement that was hard to keep a secret. Hear about the emotional reactions, celebrations and a painful bike crash that nearly ruined the day.
The Other Mr P then share stories from his recent school residential trip including giant swings, phobias and managing 39 kids in the heat. Next, the brothers discuss this week’s thread about the most childish things people say in professional environments. From tantrums and oversharing to autocorrect fails and workplace antics, they explore how adults can act immature even with grown-up jobs. You will also hear a collection of funny and cringe-worthy teacher and school stories from accidental innuendos to microwaved muddy shoes and other classroom mishaps.
